The classroom is as ready as it’s going be for Year 3! There will be a few changes coming in the next couple of weeks like adding my nugget’s pictures all over and getting a cabinet put up to store those cups and paper towels.
Finally got curtains made for my storage shelves–thank you to my aunt!! The STOP sign on my door has been an amazing transformation for my little people–especially those that need the visuals! Outside of our classroom I have this board with all sorts of information–our weekly and monthly newsletters, our snack calendar, and our year-long calendar. Always accessible for parents! The view from the classroom door. Cubbies, drawers for my PM class, circle time area. View from our door–sensory, our tables for snack/art/sign-in/etc. and the circle table in our dramatic play area. The last view from our door. This is our dramatic play area with blocks on the other. With so many kids going so many different directions this year (6 different buses–more some days, kids that get picked up, and some that stay after) putting this whiteboard contact paper on my classroom window killed two birds with one stone. We needed to have our windows covered for safety, and now it is useful! I can write any end of day reminders or change transportation as needed! My afternoon class has more than 10 nuggets, so we needed two lines. They will learn how to zipper merge into one line!
I am so excited to start our year and get to know all of my nuggets!
Here’s to a great school year!🎉
