Baby Shower

Don’t you just love baby showers?! I am not usually a fan of the games–way out of my comfort zone–but I went to a shower earlier this week where we played a trivia game and that was super fun!

Gifts for baby showers are my absolute FAVORITE to do! I love all things baby. For every baby shower, I put together a laundry basket full of fun stuff and a book in place of a card. I’m all about practical. Babies create laundry and laundry baskets are cheaper, or the same price as, gift bags. As an Early Childhood Educator, reading is super close to my heart. I typically give Guess How Much I Love You written by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram or Love You Forever written by Robert Munsch, two of my favorites from childhood.

I have started personalizing flour sack towels and clothes, so I tried my hand at a onesie for the first time! The expecting couple are having a surprise, so I went gender-neutral. I added washing instructions, since it can’t be washed on hot.

The finished basket! All things from the registry, plus a laundry basket, personalized onesie, and a book!
