I have always loved being able to do themes based on the interest/need in our classroom. My first year in the classroom in a school setting, I changed themes weekly. I quickly decided I didn’t like that. My nuggets had 6 hours of school a week and it was SO much work to change everything out every Friday.
My second year, I started doing 2 week themes and loved it! We had a chance to dive deeper, but not get bored. We had time to read all the books, learn new words, play fun games, explore, ask questions, the list goes on!
I often get asked what themes I’ve done, so I thought the best way was to share a list with you! (These are all of the themes I’ve done over the last 3 years.)
